In 1975, Credit Control Co Limited was established to pioneer Best Practice Telephone Techniques for increasing debtor collections. It was new, it was non-threatening, it was positive and it worked.
There was a need for an alternative to external debt collection. Our Consultants conducted the credit function from clients’ premises on a regular part-time basis, thereby instilling a discipline for the client, who could see and hear how effectively their customers were being managed to pay. The facility also served to educate the debtor because of the friendly, regular approach.
In 1990, CCC Personnel was added, bringing another arm to our business and providing full-time temporary and permanent recruitment for companies in almost every industry imaginable. Training was formally launched and since then, many groups of credit controllers have completed courses to improve their telephone technique and collections savvy.
Credit is our core business and at the forefront of what we do, so by 2004 it seemed logical to rebrand the recruitment service. Credit Recruitment is now in full swing and under the new name, tells the story clearly.
80% of all work undertaken by our team is Credit related, with other accounting and office based roles making up the difference. As employers experience success and appreciate the professional standards of CR, we are increasingly called on to assist in other areas – where we continue to deliver a consistent standard of service.
